Participants will learn how native flora and fauna depend on each other while learning basic ID tips for common trees of Central Kentucky.
Come join us on an autumnal hike through Shaker Village as we learn about native trees, enjoy the fall foliage and find out why nature puts on this spectacular display.
Learn how to grow native plants from seed! This hands-on workshop will explore seed collection, cleaning, and other preparation for propagating native plants at home.

Learn to identify trees at McConnell Springs by leaves, bark, thorns, seeds and other distinctive characteristics. This program will include a guided walk at a leisurely pace.
