Walking & Talking About Tree Care

The tree walk will begin on the concrete pad located behind the Bell House (545 Sayre Ave) shortly after 5:30.
Local arborists Jesse Hesley and Megan Seifert of Bartlett Tree Experts (formerly Town Branch Tree Experts) will lead a tour of the diverse collection of trees located in the park. The walk will be a slow-paced stroll through the mostly level lawn surrounding the Bell House.
We will stop and identify several trees of interest along the way. The focus of the discussion will be on some common tree issues and how you can care for trees in the urban environment. Pruning, insects, diseases, and common cultural problems will be covered. We may even have a few tools of the trade on hand to better illustrate some arboricultural practices. And of course we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
