Go See Trees: Lexington’s Downtown Tree Tour

Go See Trees 2024 highlights a new permanent installation from Lexington’s Tree Board; The Downtown Tree Tour! Take a tour throughout downtown Lexington and discover some of the Lexington Tree Board’s favorite trees. Learn more about nearly 20 different tree species and a little bit about where they’ve been planted. The tour will lead you along Vine and Main Streets as you take in some of the beauty of our urban canopy. Trees are a key part of the health of our urban environment, helping to remove chemical and air pollution, capture stormwater run-off, combat the urban heat island effect and reduce noise pollution.
